Just outside Embankment underground station, by the river, a nice bar/eating place, seats inside and out, friendly service and not expensive.

I wanted to write how lovely the staff were at Hungerford House. It was the London Landmarks half marathon today and I asked if they have a spair Chair for my Nan to sit down. I spoke to Nico, who straight away with no hesitation said yes. The staff were so lovely, will recommend to come here for service and drinks look lovely.

Stopped off for quick one before crossing over to south bank for a meal- sat outside and it’s busy as you would expect next to road- good choice of lagers and have to say was surprised by the excellent friendly service from young barman- very nice guy. Started to rain while we were sat outside and he did a great job getting a cover over us- of course the rain stopped after he’d busted a gut to sort it out! Good for watching the world go by at a busy intersection.
